Customized Road Signs fabricates highway-spec signage — regulatory shapes, warning diamonds, fluorescent work-zone roll-ups, delineators and object markers — on 0.080 aluminium, faced in the reflective sheeting grade the road actually warrants.
Almost every road sign quote in the market names a size and a legend. Very few name the sheeting grade, and that is the specification that decides whether the sign works at eleven at night in the rain, which is when it matters.
The gap between engineer grade and diamond grade is not marginal. At the same distance, on the same headlights, one returns several times the light of the other. Buy on price alone and you get the first one without ever being told.
So we quote the grade by name, we tell you which one your approach speed warrants, and we quote the posts and fixings in the same document rather than leaving a pallet of signs sitting in a yard waiting for hardware.
Why we exist
Road signage is bought by facilities managers, parish clerks and site supervisors who are not traffic engineers, from suppliers who are happy to let a 24 inch sign go onto a road that needed a 30.
We say what the road needs. Sometimes that means recommending a cheaper sheeting grade than the one asked for, and sometimes it means telling somebody their sign is too small or that the regulatory shape they want would not be enforceable on a public road.
What we actually make
Regulatory signs in the standard shapes on 0.080 aluminium with rounded corners and pre-punched holes. Warning diamonds in standard yellow or fluorescent yellow-green, with the full standard symbol set or a custom symbol drawn properly. Fluorescent orange work-zone signs, both rigid and roll-up on spring stands. Flexible delineator posts, object markers and barricade panels. And the mounting: u-channel, telescoping square tube, breakaway bases, band clamps and theft-resistant fasteners.
Sheeting runs from engineer grade through high-intensity prismatic to diamond grade, with an optional anti-graffiti overlay for signs at ground level.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. A sign’s price moves with size, shape, sheeting grade, quantity and whether posts and hardware come with it. Send the legend, the road speed and the quantity and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.
What we will not do
We will not supply a regulatory shape and legend combination for a public road when it would not be enforceable, and we will say why rather than quietly making it. On private property the rules are different and we make custom regulatory signs constantly — but the distinction matters, and a supplier who never mentions it is not doing you a favour.
